Our Urban Nature concerns itself with nature enclosed by urban settings. There are a great deal of ecological philosophies, debates and writings that Our Urban Nature uses as a catalyst. The project initiatives, on the other hand, are pursued in a very practical, hands-on manner.
As urban inhabitants, for the first time in history we make up 50% of the earth’s population. In Europe, North America and other areas this figure is already over 70%. UN projections are for the entire population of our planet to be at this latter figure by 2050.
By reconnecting yourself with your food sources, nature’s cycles and the environment, you can begin to take charge of your own impact and respect being part of the greater whole. This refers to you as a member of the community and an integral part of the entire eco-cycle.
